A television located next to your stereo is not necessary in order to have the Digital Music on that stereo, but a Digial Box from Mediacom is. In this scenario, where the stereo is in different room than the Television & Digital Box there are 2 options in order hook up that stereo. 1.) You could run long audio cables from your Digital Box to the stereo in question. But this poses some problems. Purchasing audio cables long enough and hiding the cables once run so they are out of the way and out of sight. 2.) If there is a cable outlet near the stereo in question, you can always add another Digital Box and place it near/next to your stereo. The additional cost for a Digital Box would be $10 per month.

Xbox 360 just signed a deal with ESPN for ESPN3.com. Will I get this on my Xbox?
In early November 2010 ESPN is making its ESPN3.com content and video on demand contenta available on the Xbox 360 console. Xbox 360 offers a service called "LIVE" that connects to the Internet and allows gamers to download games, watch pay-per-view movies and more. A few things are needed in order to watch ESPN3.com on your Xbox 360 though. First, you will need an upgraded subscription to Xbox 360 LIVE "GOLD". Only in the Gold Level will ESPN3.com be available on your Xbox. It cost around $50 per year. Second, you will need to subscribe to Mediacom Online (or another internet provider that offers ESPN3.com free to all Online Subscribers).
All Xbox 360 LIVE members will have access to some ESPN On Demand content but only GOLD Level members will have access to ESPN3.com (with Mediacom Online)
FYI - Mediacom Online (any level of service) offers ESPN3.com free. Go to www.mediacomtoday.com to access ESPN3.com

Will Mediacom ever have the NFL Sunday Ticket or NBA League Pass?
Currently the NFL Sunday Ticket is exclusive to DirecTV. In 2009, DirecTV signed a deal with the NFL for an estimated $1 Billion per year through the 2014 season for exclusive rights to the Sunday Ticket. Unfortunatly cable companies such as Mediacom are not allowed access to this content due to this deal.
The NBA League Pass is another PPV subscription service that may be available to Mediacom. Currently we do not provide it. IF you are interested in the NBA League Pass, although not available at this time, please let us know and we'll take the request into consideration. To date there has been very few (less than 10) requests for the NBA League Pass in the past 12-24 months.
