My dog loves chewing things and chewed up my remote. How much does it cost to replace it?
Unfortunately sometimes things like this happen and a new Mediacom remote is necessary. A new remote can be picked up at any one of our Mediacom offices or by contacting Mediacom Customer Service at 1-800-332-0245. The cost for a new remote is $25.00.

No! Mediacom Broadcast Basic (typically channels 2-22) Mediacom Family Cable (typically channels 2-78) are available on all your television sets, digital or analog, without any additional equipment. If you have a analog set, most often a tube television, you can auto program your television and receive all your Broadcast Basic or Family Cable channels will show up. If you have a digital set, a newer television or HDTV, you will not only find the analog channels but you will also find your local HD channels and all of your Family Cable channels digitally! (Note: Family Cable channels available digitally is not yet available in all areas)
For our customers that subscribe to Mediacom One Star (Starz! & Encore, Interactive TV Guide, Access to PPV & Access to Video On Demand where available), the Starz! movie channels will be available on the televisions in which you have the Mediacom Digital Box or Mediacom HD Box. With a Mediacom HD Box, with or without Mediacom One Star or the Star Paks, you will receive all the Family Cable HD channels that are available for no additional charge!

Programmer fees are the quarterly payment that Mediacom makes to the different channels and their parent companies. In order to bring our customers the programming that they have and have come to expect, a monthly fee per subscriber is paid to the different programming companies.
