Home Shopping Network (HSN) moved to Digital Broadcast Basic Channel 14. It is available to ALL of the Mediacom Broadcast Basic and above subscribers. Either a Digital Television with a QAM Tuner built in, a Mediacom Digital Tuner or a Mediacom Digital Box is needed in order to receive Home Shopping Network.

The reason why you have to enter 3 numbers to change the channel is the way the preferences in your Digital Box are set. To change the preference to be able to press just 1 or 2 numbers to get to your channel follow the simple steps below.
- Press 'Menu' twice
- Go to the 2nd page of listings to 'Setup'. Just arrow down to find 'Setup'. Press Select or OK on your remote.
- Arrow to 'Guide Setup' and Press Select or OK on your remote.
- On the left side of your screen it will list 'Channel Entry Behavior', arrow down so your cursor is the right of it and switch it to 'Auto Tune'.
