I'm doing some digging in my yard. Will Mediacom come out and locate my buried cable?
YES. You will need to call Gopher State One Call in order to have not just the Mediacom Cable located but all the utilities. Call Gopher State One Call before you do any digging in your yard. Anyone digging in Minnesota MUST call Gopher State One Call before any digging may start. Contact Gopher State One Call at 1-800-252-1166. Contact Mediacom at 1-800-332-0245 and we would be happy to relocate your drop for you. If you would like to do it yourself, please be careful doing so, damage to the drop may result in a charge if work is to be done to repair it.Minnesota: Gopher State One Call 1-800-252-1166

When I dial your 800 number, where does the call go?
Mediacom's Customer Service has call centers located in Waseca, MN (between Owatonna and Mankato) and Des Moines, IA. There are a few smaller call centers located in other Mediacom communities, but the majority of calls are taken either in Waseca or Des Moines.To contact Mediacom Customer Service call 1-800-332-0245.

Does Mediacom's Online service have virus protection?
Computer Anti-Virus programs are a MUST for any Personal Computer Use. As part of you Mediacom Online service is the Mediacom eTrust Security Suite which includes an Anti-Virus program. Download the Security Suite HERE.A few Anti-Virus Tips: Always have the Anti-Virus Program running on your computer. Make sure that it scans all incoming e-mails and any miscellaneous programs you may download from the Internet. Set up an automatic scan which will run at nigh when you are not using your computer, so you don't have to remember to scan you computer.

Is it possible to watch the Timberwolves on Pay Per View without having to upgrade to Family Cable?
The Minnesota Timberwolves are not available on Pay Per View. Most of the Timberwolves games are broadcast on Fox Sports Net North (Mediacom Family Cable) and KSTC 45 (Mediacom Basic Cable). What is the status of receiving WCCO (CBS) and KMSP (FOX) on the HD Tier?
KMSP (FOX) is now available in many Mediacom Communities (Mediacom Channel 809) and Mediacom has just signed a deal with FOX to provide FOX in HD in many other communities. If it is not available now, it will be very soon.WCCO (CBS) is unfortunately not available in HD yet. Mediacom is continuing our negotiations with CBS in order to retransmit the HD signal. We hope to have an agreement soon, but unfortunately there is not timeline set
