Is it legal to throw an old TV in the trash or do I need to pay to recycle it?
It is ILLEGAL to throw away your old or broken television in the trash. There are components in the the set that are toxic. Although there are many locations to recycle your old television, many are free.
To find a location near you, go to one of these great Green sites. http://www.mygreenelectronics.org/
http://www.recycleminnesota.org/index.htm
or contact your local recycling center for more information.

How do I get your Internet Service to more than one computer in my home?
You will need to purchase a router and hook that up to your cable modem and then to your computers. Follow the instructions that come with the router and you should have no problem getting that up and going. Supplies you may need: CAT5 or NIC Cables (the phone cords on 'steroids' that hook your modem to the computer currently) If you purchase a wireless router, you will need to make sure that all your computers that you are not hooking up directly with a CAT5 or NIC cable have a wireless receiver hooked up to them. Mediacom does offer networking service for our customers for $5.95/month. We will hook up your computers for you with all the necessary equipment. Additional charges apply for the installation and additional equipment that may be necessary. Please contact you local Mediacom office or our friendly Customer Service staff will be able to answer your questions at 1-800-332-0245 24/7.Find more about Mediacom Home Networking Service at www.mediacomcable.com/internet_networking.html
