Local HD Channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX & PBS) are available to ALL Mediacom Broadcast Basic customers who have a Digital Tuner in their HDTV. Using your HDTV's Digital Tuner, auto-program and you will find the channels which are available in your area. The channels will be located on a ".2" or ".5". For example, 11.5.
HD Channels such as ESPN, ESPN 2, etc. are also available at no addition charge but a Mediacom HD DCT (Digital Box) is required in order to authorize the channels. For more information about HDTV, please contact Mediacom Customer Service at 1-800-332-0245.

Mediacom utilized the existing phone lines in your home. If you were are able to use a phone jack in another room previously, you will be able to with Mediacom Phone Service. Some exceptions may be in apartments and condos.
In this situation, you would need to plug in a phone into the unused phone jack in the other room. The same line will be used for all the telephones in your home.

Will Mediacom launch Game Show Network and Big Ten Network in HD?
The Game Show Network (GSN) is currently available as part of the Digital Plus Package and is located on Channel 258. The Digital Plus tier is an a la carte tier of 44 channels which includes such channels as; Game Show Network, Discovery Kids, National Geographic, Lifetime Movie Network, IFC, RFD-TV, Bloomberg News and more!
