What additional HD channels will Mediacom be adding?
Currently Mediacom offer the following HD Channels in the High Definition Tier:- ESPN HD
- ESPN 2 HD
- Discovery HD Theatre
- Universal HD
- HDNet
- HDNet Movies
- Local Channels! (NBC, ABC, PBS) FOX very soon!
The High Definition channels offered by Mediacom are located in the 800 series of channels.

How can I prevent getting so much junk e-mail everyday?
As part of your Mediacom Online service, you also have access to a FREE suite of products from Mediacom and eTrust . It includes an Anti-Spam program. Go to the Internet Security page of the Mediacom web site to download the suite of products. I've seen commercials for Mediacom Phone Service. How does that work, and what's the catch?
There is no catch. Mediacom Phone Service is different from "regular" phone service in one significant way. Instead of using the phone line that runs from the street or pole to your home, we use the cable line that also runs your television and Internet service. I've seen locally produced shows on cable. Can anyone put a show on cable TV?
Interesting question. You most likely need to be a resident in or around the cable system that produces the Local Access Programming that you see and enjoy every day. Each community has control of their own station, whether it be the Local Access, Education Access or Governmental Access channels. To find the contact information for your local channel, contact the Local Access Facility in your community or contact Mediacom's friendly Customer Service staff at1-800-332-0245 and they can help you find the contact information for your community.
