Mediacom does not provide a studio to edit and make videos but your local access channels may. Contact your local access channel for more information. In the West Metro Area of Minneapolis, contact the Lake Minnetonka Communications Commission at 952-471-7125.

Mediacom recently started providing a M Cable (AKA HDMI Cable) for HDTV customers. When you subscribe to HDTV Service from Mediacom the technician will bring one. If a longer HDMI Cable is required for your home, it would be the customers responsibility to purchase it.

Mediacom is currently in the process negotiating with a number of channels to provide their station in HD. Recently Mediacom added TBS HD, TNT HD and CNN HD to many Mediacom communities and are working hard on addiing these stations to many more Mediacom communities.
As for every channel being available in HD, it would be up more to the individual channel to be available in HD to allow Mediacom reach an agreement to provide that HD channel. Most likely not every channel will be available in HD but more and more are adding programing in HD and starting a simulcast in HD.

Although the National Geographic Channel is a new and very good niche channel it does not have the same viewship and viewer loyalty that the Fox Movie Channel has. The Fox Movie Channel is a well estabilished channel that has gained a very loyal viewing audience throughout the years of providing quailty movies and programming. Unfortunately due to the niche nature of the National Geographic Channel it will not replace the Fox Movie Channel on the Family Cable lineup.
The National Geographic Channel is available on Digital Plus.
