Why do you have so many different 800 and 888 numbers for customer service?
The reason that Mediacom has a number of different 800, 888 and 877 numbers for our customers to call in on are for statistic and tracking purposes with the different direct mail, television commercials etc. Also it allows for a better way of directing your phone call to the appropriate call center. Of course you can alway contact us at 800-332-0245.

Why can't I pick up an HD cable box in person at one of your local offices?
You can pick up a HD Cable Box at any one of our local offices. Although Mediacom does not keep a large supply of the HD Digital Box or DVR Digital Box in each office so there may not be one available at the time you come. Most of the Advanced Set Top Boxes (HD and DVR Digital Boxes) are spoken for by other cusotmers as soon as they reach your office. Check with your local office and they will do their best to ensure you can get a HD or DVR Digital Box.

Can I get my Mediacom phone to block telemarketing calls?
Yes! You can use a couple of options to block telemarketing calls. Through Mediacom Phone you can activate Anonymous Call Rejection (*77). Your best way of blocking telemarketing calls is to add your phone number to the Do Not Call List by going to www.donotcall.gov.
